did you know that Google now offers a directory of themes that allow you to customize the look of their interface?
They have just included a dynamic theme I created, which feature two boffins in a chemistry lab. The theme changes five times thoughout the day and follows the boffins as things go a little awry in their lab.

Here is one of our latest logo projects for St Louis Jazz Cafe, a new venture opening soon in downtown St Louis.
As with all of our projects, from logo to web design, client collaboration is very important. Some clients have great ideas of there own, as was the case with this project. In these situation I ask they sketch out their thoughts so I get a better understanding of thier ideas and interpret accordingly.

As a web and graphic designer I love my job and am passionate about what I do.
This week I took a little time off and joined my daughter on a “Heritage Day” field trip. We were treated to eight presentations by local experts on everything from candle making to “Toys enjoyed by pioneer children”. I particulary enjoyed the presentation by a blacksmith who was very also passionate about his trade. He made a nail and an artistic rendition of a leaf.
Launched today is a new web site for Rossiter & Boock, a St Louis law firm.
The site is very clean and easy on the eye with a simple but effective navigation and focus on content.

During a career presentation I made recently to 8th grade students the question arose, “what do you do in a typical day?” Every day is different but to give you a flavor here is what I did yesterday.
This is pretty typical for my day and as you can see it is all about managing multiple projects. I put Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash though their paces.
Is it me or have we had a long winter this year? I am more than ready for spring.
Here is a little burst of fabulous designer spring color from my garden: evidence that winter is over. As a web & graphic designer color can be a great inspiration, I love the contrast of purple and green in this photograph.

New Themes for i google
Google have taken the theme approach one step further and now it is possible to create your own theme to share with the world.
A blogger client recently asked me to create an i google theme to compliment his web site. I put together a dynamic theme which features “Mr Bison” at his computer oblivious to the happening around him. The theme changes 5 times during the day.
I have had some great feedback from users who have installed this theme

With the logo complete we have now turned our attention to creating a web site
Here is the latest branding element we have completed for for The 4449, a Central West End condo and townhome constuction
The big banner will be hung on the side of the building and the smaller ones on interior glass panels.
A web site will is to follow shortly.
